At IFA, the world's largest consumer eletronics fair held in August in Berlin Germany, the DVD+RW Alliance showed a wide range of new DVD+R/+RW products. Apart from the products shown at the Alliance booth, there were also several dozen new DVD+R/+RW product launches to be seen at the various company's individual booths.

The DVD+RW Alliance showed a wide range of products. Besides the new consumer DVD+R/+RW recorders from 8 different manufacturers, there were also PCs, PC drives, software and media products on display.
