BHA announces new version of CD/DVD recording software for Macintosh OS X

CeBIT 2003, Hannover, Germany - March 12, 2003 - B.H.A Corporation today announced the new version of the company's widespread CD/DVD recording software for Macintosh. B's Recorder GOLD X now comes with a new interface designed to be even easier to use, an advanced sound editor and full support for Mac OS X and Mac OS 9. Other new features in B's Recorder GOLD X are enhancement options for songs while copying a CD and B's Gate drag and drop recording of data or music discs without having to launch the main application.

The new version of B's Recorder GOLD X includes powerful and easy to understand features for recording HFS, ISO9660 or hybrid data CDs, making audio CDs from MP3 files, store data or video on DVD+RW/R or DVD-R/RW discs, put home videos on CD, backup your CDs and DVDs plus much more. All of the key features in B's Recorder GOLD X are accessible from the GOLD X Wizard that guides the user through the recording process with straightforward step-by-step instructions for creating CDs or DVDs without referring to the manual.

For the user that prefers the simplest and quickest route to writing their disc, B's Gate provides an innovative shortcut: simply drag and drop all the data or audio files that you want to record into the B's Gate area on your Finder, insert a blank CD or DVD and click the record button. There is no need to run any separate program at all which makes B's Gate a unique feature on the market today.

B's Recorder GOLD X supports CD-R/RW, DVD+RW/+R, or DVD-R/RW recorders and is designed for Mac OS X 10.1 or later while retaining backward compatibility with Mac OS 9.2 systems.

Availability
B's Recorder GOLD X will be marketed through BHA's network of worldwide OEM and retail partners and the English version is scheduled to begin shipping in March 2003. Other language versions, including German and French, will follow in the spring of 2003.
