MedioStream and BHA Announce Key Strategic Partnership

Companies join forces to provide all-in-one optical storage recording solutions

SAN JOSE, CA (March 10, 2003) – MedioStream, Inc., a leading provider of PC-based consumer software for recording video to DVDs and CDs, and B.H.A Corporation, a pioneering developer and supplier of recording software for all major optical storage technologies, today announced the formation of a strategic partnership.

BHA has supplied CD and DVD recording software for Windows and Macintosh since 1993, and their CD and DVD recording solutions are marketed to the world’s leading optical storage OEMs and to end users through distributors and retailers worldwide. In Japan BHA holds a commanding position with a majority share of the OEM market. BHA’s key customers and development partners currently include Sony, Ricoh, TEAC, Panasonic and Plextor.

“Partnering with BHA is a natural fit for MedioStream, especially since we are already working with some of the same OEM partners, including Sony and Ricoh,” said Gordon Doran, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of MedioStream, Inc. “This strategic partnership with BHA will enhance both companies’ position in an industry that’s looking for an integrated, easy to use solution that allows users to take advantage of both DVD and CD media for the creation and storage of video, data and audio content.”

“BHA is excited to work with MedioStream since we both share the same strategic direction and commitment to ease of use,” said Masaharu Yoshihara, President and Chief Executive Officer of B.H.A Corporation. “By partnering with MedioStream, we add strength to our product range and aim to better satisfy the demands from our customers and users for leading-edge and usable consumer DVD Video products.”

This partnership brings together complimentary product lines for OEMs and consumers: MedioStream develops and markets the consumer-oriented neoDVD, which offers the fastest and easiest way for users to create their own DVDs or VCDs via the distinctive NEO TaskBar. neoDVD is the only DVD authoring software that provides true Direct-to- Disc Recording; it is also the first to offer industry-standard Video Recording (VR) support for DVD+RW drives, which allows users to update finished DVDs directly on DVD+RW discs created on the PC using a +RW DVD burner or recorded from a +RW digital video recorder (DVR).

BHA’s extensive product line-up is led by B's Recorder GOLD5, an CD/DVD recording software application with innovative functionality to write any type of content to all current writable DVD and CD formats: DVD+RW/+R, DVDRW/- R, DVD-RAM and CD-R/RW. Preview versions of the two companies’ products working together were showcased at COMDEX 2002, including MedioStream’s All-in-One integrated DVD solution featuring B’s Recorder GOLD5 for audio and data recording.
