Ultima Launches Superior Multi-Media Burner

Ultima Electronics Corp. has announced the most advanced-technology storage drive of DVD+RW Multi-media Burner, which integrated DVD+RW and CD-RW recording with CD-ROM and DVD-ROM playback functions in the all-in-one superior burner. This evolutionary drive is a perfect multi-media burner to enrich digital entertainment life. It facilitates to store, create and edit video, photo, music and data onto CDs and DVDs ; and store tremendous amounts of data by 4.7GB storage capacity.

Because digital devices including DSC, PC camera, digital TV, DVR, scanner are widespread, the demand for recording, editing on DVDs become popular for a broad range of applications. The new drive achieves capacity of fast 4x DVD writing and rewriting which is equivalent to approximately 36x on CD drives and supports 24x and 16x writing speeds for CD-R and CD-RW to store all of audio/video data respectively. For writing DVD+RW/DVD+R and CD-R/RW discs, the burner is equipped with "Loss-less Linking" and "JustlLink" technologies to prevent buffer underrun errors respectively.
